Approving an online card payment

Quick answer

Some online card payments ask you to confirm that you are making the payment. Approve the request in Pyre from Home or use SMS when that option appears.

Approve a payment in Pyre

1. Return to Pyre after the merchant asks for approval.
2. Open the payment request shown on Home.
3. Check the merchant, amount, currency and card ending.
4. Select Approve if the details are correct.
5. Return to the merchant and complete the payment.

Select Decline if you do not recognise the payment or any detail is wrong. Freeze the card and contact support if you did not start it.

Use SMS verification

1. Select SMS verification when the payment screen offers it.
2. Wait for the text message.
3. Enter the code on the payment screen.

Use the newest code you receive. Never share a code with anyone, including Pyre support.

If the request does not appear

1. Return to Home and refresh Pyre.
2. Check whether the merchant still shows the payment as waiting.
3. Use SMS verification if it is offered.
4. Start the payment again if the original request expired.

If the request still does not appear, contact support with the merchant, amount, currency and approximate time.
